This was one ship that I've created for an open source project, right after my graduation of school at Campus Ubisoft/Dawson College as a level designer in 2009...
Took back the ship recently (late 2017) and added better details using 3DS Max again. I decided from the start to keep the silhouette.
Done the texturing in 3D Coat instead of Photoshop using a PBR pipeline. The rendering was done from the Banshee 3D Game engine. (In development)
